Original "Vulnerable" Oil painting
"Vulnerable" was a piece that I re-made from an older version I did in Acrylic paint about ten years ago. I wanted to re-do the idea with my new skills and oil paint.
I often get asked the meaning of this piece. This represents the feeling of eyes being the soul to the window, and the fear of letting someone in like that. So, this person takes her eyes off, appearing confident at first but taking her eyes off, literally ripping them off because she is so afraid.
