Original "Ghosty" Oil painting
This is the original painting of the idea of my ghosty character. This was created sometime after my mothers death and it was a way of representing her in a cozy character I could get comfort from while creating. The flower pattern of the sheet was a real sheet my mom gave me when I was young. I used this sheet later in collage, when we would paint off-site during painting classes. It felt like a way of connecting her to my painting journey.
